TSA Powerhouse West Toronto Cobras U11 Boys Bring Home Gold Again!
West Toronto Cobras U11 Boys soccer team successfully completed the ERIE ADMIRALS FLAGSHIP TOURNAMENT in
Erie, Pennsylvania, USA on June 7, 2009 by winning first place in the U12 Boys Silver Division and bringing home the
championship cup two years in a row. CONGRATULATIONS! Facing difficult odds, very physical, older and larger
opponents, the boys battled hard and relentlessly stood their ground. Under the skilful and determined direction of
Coach Jack Copetti and Assistant Coach Robert Mancini, the Cobras quickly adjusted to their opponents play, then
established their own play based on dominant ball possession and swift action. Playing their fifth game in two short days, their excellent fitness levels shined through in the finals as they dominated their opponent who they previously faced in round robin play(1-1 tie) en route to outstanding 3-0 victory. Many referees and tournament officials offered their praise of the team over the course of the weekend.
Join us in congratulating the team, the coaching staff, the parents and all the sponsors for their help, support and
commitment.
The entire community is proud. We know this team has a promising future ahead of them for many years to come.

The Etobicoke Energy U13G are striking first! Win in the Frank Sobil's Oshawa tournament!
May 2009 - Freshly coming off a great 2009 indoor season (runner-up in their league), the Etobicoke Energy U13G-A wasted no time going outside, and won the Frank Sobil 2009 classic, the first ourdoor pre-season tournament played on May 2-3 in Oshawa.
The Energy U13GA claimed the champion trophy by defeating Waterloo in the final by a score of 2-1. During the tournament, the Energy U13GA won their 5 games in a full team effort, all against top level 3 teams, showing that they are ready to start their outdoor CGSL league and their quest to OYSL promotion. On their way to the final, this Energy eliminated the challenging Burlington Tornado team, the second best ranked team in Ontario, and a team that defeat the Energy last year in the final of the Ontario Cup 2008. Well done Girls. You have made the Etobicoke Youth soccer club and the TSA District very proud !
Congratulations to the players and team coaching staff for those accomplishments, and thanks to the parents, EYSC club technical staff and to our team sponsor, CONTENT Group, for their support to the program.
Congratulations to the Rexdale Rebels U10 Boys representative team
March 2009 - The Rexdale Rebels U10 Boys entered the March Mayhem tournament in Guelph after a strong indoor season at BMO Field. The Rebels finished the round robin play and advanced to the Championship match from a division with five other teams mainly from the South Region Soccer League (SRSL).
The Rebels played a hard fought match against the Orangeville Storm, but unfortunately fell short of one goal. Head coach Ranjit Nagra would like to thank the Rebels’ fantastic team play and competitive spirit which has made the Rexdale Soccer Club and TSA District very proud. Way to go Rebels!
The Rebels are looking forward to beginning the 2009 Outdoor season as strong as they finished the TSA Indoor season and March Mayhem tournament.
In closing the Rexdale Rebels Soccer Club would like to thank our hosts the Guelph Royals Soccer Club and all the participating teams for making the 2009 March Mayhem Tournament a memorable event.
